Very interesting. Below is a link to a site about Bob Burns, which has
a picture of a bazooka. So the instrument gave it's name to the weapon!

Mine is a non-sliding variety, and is small-bore plays partials like a
very long natural trumpet. It looks like the bazooka works like a
sliding dijeridoo, larger bore and playing fewer partials (maybe one?)
but sliding to produce some chromatic pitches. Hmm...
