[Trombone-l] Yael Naim trombonist: live, or Memorex (UNCLASSIFIED)

If you listen to the radio, it's hard to go ten minutes without hearing
Yael Naim wail about her new soul, to the accompaniment of a trombone.

But is it real or a synth?  I looked at a CD at the Edeka yesterday. It
only lists her and a percussionist, and she apparently did her own
recording on computer in her apartment.

If it is a synth then all of our days are numbered; it's pretty
realistic, even captures the articulation.  If it is a player - well
listen to it and judge for yourself.  Probably not in Alessi's class.
(and that begs the question, if you're using a synth, why NOT have
Alessi?)  

Anybody here sit in on that session?
