record producer and music lover.  He sends weekly emails highlighting
interesting music happening around town.  This week's email seems to
show our beloved instrument to be in good health in New Orleans' out
jazz scene...at least for this week.

Wolter Wierbos is by general consensus one of the best trombone players
in the whole world, so we are honored that he has found three days to
spend in our fair city. Tonight's two duets with two of New Orleans'
finest should at least scrape the surface of Wierbos' multi-faceted
