There is no such thing as a bass solo tone. I have to disagree with
the other posters on this subject. I have tried very hard twice to
make the extra cork on the tenor solo tone mute work. It just plain
doesn't work. It is unplayable and out of tune. Do yourself a favor
and just use a straight mute. It will be fine.
