[Trombone-l] Bass bone or large bore tenor wanted in SoCal

Dear Listers,

Does anyone in SoCal area know of a used bass bone or large bore tenor with F attachement that is for sale? I am a 47 year old who has been out of the game for 6 years. I played for the US Army Band in the early eighties and for local jazz and concert bands for 20+ years. Hadto sell my George Roberts model dual dependant valve F.E. Olds horn about the time I stopped playing. I don't need anything fancy, just want to start practicing again and taking lessons. I got taken by someone online trying to purchase a "Chinese" dual inline bass bone, and am out $1000.00 . Please help.
