[Trombone-l] Disneyland All-American College Band

Evening all,

My family and I are finally planning a trip to California, from Calgary, and I was wondering if the Disneyland All-American College band is still active in the window of  Aug 14 to Aug 25 or have they headed back to school?

I understand (correctly?) that there are several summer only activities/attractions in the park.  What else musical should we not miss?  We also have to check out the steam train!

Anything else in the L.A. or San Diego area in that window that is a must see?

Family is two trombone players (one Dad, one 14 yr. old daughter) and one non trombone playing Mother so you know ages for attractions/events.
