[Trombone-l] Quartet/Octet (or whatever comes between) charts

I just finished a LONG over the road run to take care of old parents and
a few other stops. While I was on the road I listened again to several
Manhattan Transfer CDs and was once again blown away with some of
kewlest musical arrangement .. arrangements that, in my mind, would lend
themselves well to four to eight trombones ...

Question .. Is it possible to obtain the vocal arrangements from some of
their charts? Specifically I was thinking about "Nightingale Sang in
Barkley Square", but some of their other small-band charts could quite
easily be adapted to a trombone octet.

How does one start the process of obtaining these charts, and I suppose,
getting the permission to USE them???

Anyone ever tried that???

Thanks!
