Is Selman another of the Chinese make instrument brands?

One of the neatest sounds that made a lasting impression on me was my  
first days in our college jazz ensemble my freshman year.  I'd never  
been in a jazz band that good, for one thing, and for another -- the  
school owned a bass trumpet.  What a unique sound, in that context.
