[Trombone-l] Bass Trumpets

I have two that I love:

One is a Mt Vernon Bach, made about 1958, piston valves

The other is a hybrid that was a joint effort. The bell is off a 1940's Conn
trombone, the tubing was made by Frank Doting of Grass Valley, CA, the 4
rotary valves were made by Alexander of Mainz, Germany. The whole shooting
match was assembled by John Sandhagen of the Boneyard.

Just used them in 'Rite of Spring' this weekend.
