The Garritan trb sounds are good, with these caveats:

In Garritan Personal Orchestra (GPO) the tenor trbs mostly have a
gentle, pure kind of a sound. I even used one when I needed a mid-
range flugelhorn solo, before Garritan Jazz and Big Band came out.
The 2 bass trombones are odd, though. There is one with a wide range
that has a quite rough sound, the other has a nice sound but doesn't
go above a middle (top space) G!!! Before the other Garritan sets
came out I was mixing a 3rd tenor trombone with the latter bass
trombone - too much trouble.

Garritan Jazz and Big Band, and Garritan Concert and Marching Band
both have a lot more options for all the brass (the latter including
euphoniums, baritones, etc. There a number of good sounding samples
in each. You can mix and match from all the different sets in Finale.
