[Trombone-l] Trombone Hall of Fame

I have been reading the new book titled "The Incredible Band of John Philip Sousa" by Paul Bierley and there are several mentions of a Trombone Hall of Fame.  Jay Sims and John Perfetto were both elected to it.  Any idea of the origin or status of this organization?
