Since it's a rental-only chart, any school that owns it is probably committing a felony. I hope your orchestra's board doesn't stoop to that level. Some things are worth paying for. Supporting music publishing today helps insure there is something to play and listen to tomorrow. The Jacob is a Galaxy Music/EC Schirmer publication, and the rental materials should be available direct from them in Boston, good ol' U S of A.

Subject: [Trombone-l] Gordon Jacob
Hey Everyone!
I am wondering if anyone knows where I could find the orchestral
parts for the Gordon Jacob Concerto. I am potentially playing it with
a local orchestra in a few months and there is only one place they
can find to rent the parts (London). Being a small community
orchestra they are kind of leery about renting from London. If anyone
has it or knows of maybe a college or University that has a copy that
would be willing to lend it to this orchestra that would be awesome.
I would love to play it with this group so any information is helpful.
Thanks
Josh Kane
