Happy New Year to all! Last night we went to a chamber music party in Duluth, GA. We played (and ate) into the new year. It was mostly strings, but we cobbled together a quintet where I played bassoon parts, reading Mozart, Kabelevsky and Pershichetti. After that, we jammed on some Gershwin tunes.
