[Trombone-l] Selman Alto Revisited

I have one of these Selman altos; it's the only one I've examined. The
original leadpipe is nasty. The receiver on mine is conspicuously out
of round, and the fit into the inner slide is so loose that moisture
forms on the outside of the leadpipe and gets trapped there.

Thanks for the contact for the K&H leadpipe, Howard. I'm considering
getting one. If the total cost of a decent alto is $300, that's still
a good deal.
