Some 15 years ago I purchased some Civil War arrangements written for
Trpt 1 & 2; Baritone; Horn (Trombone sub); Trombone; Bass Trombone;
Tuba and percussion. Very nice arrangements that are arranged by John
Hoesly and published by Piston Reed Stick & Bow Publisher, P O Box 107,
Convent Station, N.J. 078961-0107. Am not sure if they are still
around, but you might google them and see what comes up.
The arrangements I have are:
Battle Cry of Freedom
Stars and Stripes
The Star Spangled Banner
Rhapsody on Two Civil War Songs (When Johnny Comes Marching Home and
Battle Hymn of the Republic)
Ridin' The Reading Railroad Rag
Rag Time Dance
Waterbury Guards Quick Step
Dixie & Bonnie Blue Flag
Four Songs by Harry Von Tilzer (on a Sunny Afternoon, A Bird in a
Guilded Cage, Coaxed Me To, Wait Till The Sun Shines Nellie)
Bright Eyes Quick Step.

Many of these tunes are not Civil War Tunes but are written in that
style. If I remember correctly they had a group of other arrangements
which might work. The arrangements are fun and I did this for a couple
of seasons at a shopping mall concert series.
