[Trombone-l] NBA All-Star Game :: 4 trombones used

Did anybody happen to catch any of the NBA All-Star Game yesterday?

I pretty much ignored the game itself. But the pre-game stuff was the  
$$.

They had the Rebirth Brass Band play on the teams. Trombone Shorty  
solo/intro'd the East team. And a pretty familiar (but I can't  
remember his name) trumpet player intro'd the West team. They played  
their a##'s off!! I felt like I needed a nap after they were done!

Another interesting pre-game note: Branford Marsalis, a female  
vocalist, and a guitar player (can't remember their names either) did  
the nat'l anthem. It was tasteful, understated and flippin' cool!

Another major event (relatively) that featured trombones! Yeahhh!!
