[Trombone-l] Case for motorcycle

I've carried my Bach hard case strapped across my BMW RS passenger seat -
fits pretty nicely spanning the seat and the hard cases. Having ridden about
a bazillion miles over a span of more than 30 years on motorcycles, I
wouldn't carry a nice one in a soft case. Bikes are just too exposed and
subject to too many forces to risk it. A minor spill would likely be
disastrous for the instrument. And if you're riding a bike, you should be
prepared to take a spill. (Don't dress for the ride, dress for the spill.)
OtOh: if you have a "disposable" horn - I'd carry one (especially on a
cruiser) in a soft case looped across my back. I often carry a large, soft
messenger case when I commute to work and it works very well.
