Keith et al,

Volume 10's strengths are the Bach and Handel selections. These are of
particular import to wind and string players. As a trombonist, you'll
probably recognize that this particular repertoire list is not considered to
be central.

By the way, we have the complete set as of this week.

I've just been notified that volume 10 of the Orchestral Musician's CD-ROM
library is now shipping. Looking at the list of pieces on the disk I wonder
if there are enough parts for low brass in these to justify a $20 purchase.
Any thoughts anyone?

If anyone doesn't know about these CDs, I have volumes 1-9 and they're an
excellent resource. Complete parts (not excerpts) in pdf format. I regularly
have the opportunity to look at stuff when the season's announced and not
have to wait for the parts to be issued at the start of a rehearsal
schedule.

  The pieces listed are:

  THOMAS ARNE
  The Masque of Comus, Overture
  CARL PHILLIP EMMANUEL BACH
  Magnificat
  Siinfonia in D
  Sinfonia in Eb
  Sinfonia in F
