[Trombone-l] Old and New Parts

There was recently a  Conn 50H slide section - new old stock - for sale on Ebay -- went for only $150.

I have a 1954 Conn 78H with bad slides - my favorite horn.  

Does anybody know if the 50H slides (.525) would mate with the 78H bell (78H = .523) ?
