I use that (sorry, can't remember what it's called) black plastic wire/cord wrap. You can get two sizes. It's work's pretty well and it's easy to widen the gap between wraps for cross braces. It's a little thicker so if you have a small gap it may not go through. Stays in place well, especially if you include a cross brace in the wrap or, for example, completely fill the space between the slides on the slide hand grip.
