First it asks if you meant tuberculosis then defines phthisis as:
1. A disease characterized by the wasting away or atrophy of the body or
a part of the body.
2. Tuberculosis of the lungs. No longer in scientific use.
Guess this is very colloquial?
Mandatory trombone content - just came back from hearing the Seattle Jazz
Repertory Orchestra's 20th annual rendition of the Duke Ellington Sacred
Concerts with the Northwest Chamber Chorus and with Dee Daniels as guest
soloist. As always, fantastic and a real holiday treat!
