Played and contracted the Joan Rivers show several years ago.  The 
contract asked for 4 trpts, 4 bones, 5 saxes with the bari doubling on 
bass clarinet, piano, bass, drums and tympani.  Call for rehearsal was 
1:00pm,  the music director for Rivers showed at 2:45 and asked the 
band to play Anchors Aweigh (no music).  Bass player asked if there was 
any music?  There was none, we played Anchors Aweigh returned at 7:30 
played Anchors Aweigh and laughed for 11/2 hours,  played it again and 
that was it.  The check didn't bounce so it was a good gig.
