[Trombone-l] pit stories

A few weeks ago, I was playing Conrad Susa's Transformations at a small 
venue.  The orchestration is pretty unique- One woodwind, trumpet, 
trombone, keyboards, bass and 2 percussionists if I'm not mistaken.  I 
sat with the trumpet player to my left, the 1st keyboard in front of me, 
and the 2nd keyboard behind me.  On the penultimate performance, I think 
in the "Iron Hans" movement, the 2nd keyboardist was holding a chord, 
while one of the characters was in recitative.  The conductor yells out 
"YOU'RE PLAYING TOO LOUD!!" and waves her off with a whip of her hand.  
The trumpet player and I bit our lips and bowed our heads.
