[Trombone-l] Using long URLs in e-mail messages

T-listers - the URL issue that doesn't work when clicked is easily avoidable
for long URLs that truncate in mail messages by doing one extra step and
that is to use one of two quick and easy websites.

Both www.snipurl.com and www.tinyurl.com take long URLs and convert them
into short ones.

Simply copy the full URL from the browser, paste into one of those programs
and it will return to you a 6 character link.  Copy that and paste it into
your e-mail message.  When someone clicks on the snipurl or tinyurl link, it
redirects to the desired website.
