Is this thing on?

I lost my mail server, and I'm not certain it's all back and running ...
Can't wait until I can replace this old Shuttle machine and Microsoft
Small Business 2003 with Small Business 2008!!! (if the hardware will
make it that long)....

Mandatory Trombone Content (or question if you will): My old straight
tenor got to sit in the trunk of the car (in the summer sunshine) for
about a week as I toted it about Charleston. The slide seems to have
become "scratchy" (for lack of a better word). Cleaning with hotish
water and slide brushes doesn't seem to solve the issue, even using dish
soap or that Billy Mays Orange Cleans-anything stuff doesn't seem to
have solved the problem.

Ideas? How does one clean a "scratchy" slide?

Thanks!
