I really think SOM would be too thick, and even if it didn't gum up the
rotor, it would slow the action down considerably.
Just my suspicion, though...

Subject: [Trombone-l] Update on the OTJ Classifieds
Date: Sun, 10 Aug 2008 11:44:34 -0500
To: trombone-l at samford.edu; Brass at lists.fsu.edu
For the time being, the Online Trombone Journal Classifieds will continue to
be published as they have for the past years. We are working on changing
over to a new system, which should be in place within 90 days.
When we move, all current ads will move to the new site.
If you have any suggestions or ideas as to how I could make the Classifieds
better, please shoot me an e-mail.
We are also currently evaluating a long-term solution for the OTJ Articles
and Just For Beginners sections. If you have any thoughts or ideas about
this, please contact Dr. Richard Human, Jr. at richard at trombone.org.
