[Trombone-l] Extra low valve settings

Hello,
I'd like to refer those interested in resorces about exrta low valve setting 
to two resources:
1.  In my New Method for the Modern Bass Trombone p.169-172, section 8: 
Combinations  With Long Tuning Slide:
Various combinations - Eb/C, D/B, and C/A are discussed, with annotated 
positions and some excersices for each combination.
2. In Roger Challoner Green's "In Pursuit of a Dream - Proclamation" - a 
book documenting the recordings of Douglas Yeo's "Proclamation" -
there is a chapter (3) In Praise of a Neglected Instrument :Bass Trombone - 
various valve setups and customizations are discussed (p.78-82) -
Ed Anderson's C conversion and the autor's instrument with "Adams Bend" are 
discussed with photographs. Very interesting to read.
