[Trombone-l] Extra low valve settings

Sorry, for some reason I read Jeff's reply about Ed Anderson first.
With a Bb - F - D in-line setup, one does not play the two valves
together. The D is a separate valve to make it speak the most clearly
and quickly. Not my way of doing things - to my mind this gives up
much of the advantage of the in-line valves, for just a little gain, but
to each his own.
