[Trombone-l] Alto leadpipes

Mark,

Courtois does not list a 3-leadpipe set in their current catalog, nor do
they make any mention of it being an option or feature of the instrument.
My guess is therefore "no." They offer a sterling silver leadpipe as an
option to the stock brass model. I have to assume from the literature that
this would be a permanent option - i.e. the pipes are not interchangeable.
I'll shoot a line to my Courtois factory rep and see if he knows anything
more.

The Courtois 131R alto used to come with 3 leadpipes. Now it only comes
with
one. Does anyone have information on where to get additional alto
leadpipes.
Does Courtois still make 3 different pipes Thanks-Mark Narins
