[Trombone-l] Six Pack, Reciprocity, and Great Low Brass Playing

Hey everyone! Here are a few youtube links to a new piece for solo tuba by James Meador called Six Pack for Solo Tuba being performed by Tim Buzbee, principal tuba of Iceland Symphony. This is some of the most incredible tuba playing I've ever heard...Tim's low register is just unbelievable (check out Mvt. IV called 'Angry'). Mvt. II, 'Discoteque' is pretty awesome too. Reciprocity is a duet commissioned by Tim and Jessica Buzbee, who plays asst. principal trombone in Iceland Symphony and is a member of Christian Lindberg's Trombone Unit 2000. She plays high, he plays low, and they sound amazing together!
