I'm in central Germany, sorry, can't help you with Amsterdam.

However, I've noticed that next weekend, 25 and 26 April, there is a
Militarmusikfest in Garmisch, Germany.

I went a couple of years ago and it was pretty awesome. Military bands
from all over the world filled an ice arena and each did the equivalent
of an American halftime show.

Garmisch is pretty far south, down on the border and in the heart of the
Alps. Americans living in Germany go there for recreation especially
skiing.

No Amsterdam based trombone players around then?
