My mute bag for a number of years has been a bag for baseball equipment. It
has a long compartment in the bottom for a bone stand and a music stand, a
large area for mutes and music, and some side pockets for other things like
a tuner, pencils, small audio recorder and such. The separate bat
compartment keeps the stands from denting the mutes.
