[Trombone-l] Harmon Mute

Stan may have the opportunity, though, to buy two inexpensive  
individual mutes that'd each sound better than the Harmon combination  
mute.  I thought the combo mute sounds junky across the board.

Some sample prices from Woodwind/Brasswind in the US, for comparison:

   humes & berg "stonelined" trombone straight mute - $14
   humes & berg "stonelined" trombone cup - $21

   harmon trombone "triple play" - $40

You got some good recommendations from others for alternatives to the  
straight mute above, but just these two cost 12% less than the combo  
and sound 100% better.
