This was Yamaha's first (or one if its first) professional jazz horn, made
from 1969-1975. It was more or less a copy of the Conn 6H, with an 8-inch
bell and a .500 bore. After 1975 it gave way to the 653, which in turn gave
way to the current 691. I owned one for a while - nice horn.
