Bay Colony Brass is looking for a Second Trombone.

Bay Colony Brass, presently sited in Bedford Mass, outside of Boston,
is a brass ensemble made up of 6 trumpets, 5 horns, 5 trombones (2
doubling on euphonium), 1 tuba, and percussion. Repertoire includes
classical, jazz, marches, etc. Some are written for an ensemble of
this nature (Eric Ewazen's Symphony for Brass, Henri Tomasi's
Fanfares Liturgiques, Strauss fanfares, etc.). We have played a
number of first performances and continue to seek out and solicit
works for this kind of ensemble. We also play a lot of
transcriptions, many (perhaps most) of which are produced by group
members. Interest in composing or arranging is very welcome

Rehearsals are held on Monday nights 7:30-10:00 PM in Bedford, Mass.
There is no payment for members except for special situations, e.g.,
occasional small ensembles for particular gigs, etc.

Auditions may be personal and/or as part of a procedure where
candidates will participate in rehearsals. This has yet to be determined.

Anyone interesting in applying, please let me know. If you would like
to be on the sub list but not a regular member, feel free to let me
know that, as well.
