Hi all,

I'm not going to have time to reply to inquiries or field questions on this one, so please contact Oscar Arevalo directly, but a request from my orchestra to post this:

... Our principal trombone) is in the hospital (I think in DF!) and won't be able to play in this week's concerts (November 22 ands 23) so, as you may imagine, Carrasco is asking me to find someone to replace him.
I
.... I wanted to still request your help by asking you to write to your contacts of the trombone list and explain the situation we are having, hoping that maybe someone would be free to fly on Tuesday evening or wednesday morning and start rehearsing on Wednesday afternoon.
As always, the orchestra will be covering all expenses, travel, accomodation and the substitute's fee which would be of 200 USD approximately.

Please let me know if you can think of a possible solution to this problem or if you can get in contact with the musicians of the trombone list.
Thank you so much.
Talk to you soon.

Oscar

(it may be a possibility that a bass trombone would be useful, too, w/ some shifts in the section, but I'll let anyone who is interested talk to Oscar- I don't know details.)

Of course, we would need to ask Christopher about this too.\x3cbr\x3eHowever, if all this Im thinking about is not possible, I wanted to still request your help by asking you to write to your contacts of the trombone list
