And I'm on the lurch for a good bass trombone suitable for big band  
exclusively.

Conn 62H, perhaps?

Yeah... I'm an old Conn man at heart.   This would be for my big  
band... not for me personally.

We would prefer a single trigger bass trombone; not a double trigger  
for sure.
