Clicking on a  long link and coming up empty happens a lot. If the link is
long enough that it won't fit on one line, when you click on it you are only
sending part of the link. No wonder nothing comes back!

In that case, in order to see the article you want (or map or whatever), do
the following:
1) Open a new browser window or tab
2) Copy the link from the email and paste it in to the address bar in the
new window or tab. It will probably be necessary to copy and paste each line
separately.
3) Proofread the link to make sure there are no spaces or missing
characters. There should be no need to proofread character by character.
Just look at where the line break was.
4) Press "enter", and your site should come up. If it does not, repeat step
3.
