[Trombone-l] Tuner for low register?

There are no digital tuners that have fast, accurate, precise response
below about 4th line F. It's a physical problem -- the built-in
condenser microphones apparently have a big roll-off in the response.

The solution is an external microphone. Get a clip-on contact
microphone, and attach it to your bell flare. It will cost you about
$20-$30, and your tuner will work fine in any register. It will also
work in noisy environments (e.g., trying to get tuned in the green
room). Most tuners are equipped with 1/4" phone in/out jacks, so if you
have a good recording microphone you can use it. But it won't work in
noisy environments...

I'm having trouble, though, finding a tuner that works well in the low and trigger range. Can anyone suggest a specific model that has good, accurate, and fast response in that register?
