[Trombone-l] Mozart Requiem

I have the Vienna Philharmonic von Karajan recording and that certainly 
does:

A couple of years ago we played the requiem in a local community 
orchestra and I was disappointed that the trombone parts were so sparse, 
not matching the recording that I had been listening to at all!  So I 
went online and found a MIDI file that did have trombones scored 
throughout, with the alto (for the most part) matching the altos, tenor 
playing with the tenors, and the bass trombone with the basses.  I 
forget, but there is a musical term for this (a colletti or something, 
"with the voices"?).  So I imported the MIDI into Encore and printed new 
parts for us, which we rehearsed since there was no choir until the 
dress rehearsal.  I asked the choir director then if we should continue 
to play the parts I had printed instead of the edition distributed to 
us, and he said of course, he was expecting that we would be playing 
those parts.
