that's how schagerl build their trombones. very distinctive. :)  
hagmann valves and tuning in the slide too, which allows the f- 
attachment to loop round the top of the trombone. these horns play  
really wel, i know a few ppl round here who play them and swear by  
them.the bent trumpet played by the lead player is rotary valve, btw;  
iirc it's inspired by dizzy gillespie's instrument.
