Me too.  I once got really screwed up during a clinic with the Ferguson band
when a student asked me where I put my tongue when I play.  I had to force
myself to think about something completely different during the evening
concert else I couldn't play a note.  I'm pretty sure I would make a bad
brass teacher.  Another problem I have in my autumn days is that when I try
to cram more learning into my brain another piece of important memory falls
out.
