[Trombone-l] String bass and trombone duets

I like the Blazevich Concert Duets. One of the Bach Two Part Inventions
might be cool too. Some work better than others when you start changing
instruments.

My wife plays cello, and we read duets together sometimes. I love the
Hindemith 4 Stuke (there should be an umlat in there somewhere), but they
work better with like instruments. Part of what makes them cool (to me) is
the way he uses the sonorities of the instruments, but the sound of cello
and bone don't really make those pieces work. They sound good with two
bones and good with two celli, but cello and bone is much less effective.
The Bach inventions seems to work better for our cello/bone mix...of course
that might be because my wife likes Bach much more than Hindemith.
