Doug is a trombone player first, and a particularly fine one - this mouthpiece business is a side thing for him. He has been very busy with touring lately. I think the Artie Shaw band is on the road right now for about 7 weeks. 

I'd suggest you try him again. At some point soon he'll get back to you or you'll simply reach him.

Yeah, but common courtesy says he ought to respond somehow.  Isn't he in a
