so, Adrian... what do you tune your Gb slide to?
FWIW, what I was taught (and we all know how much I paid attention to
what I was taught!) was to tune the horn (ok, instrument) to Bb, then
tune the F slide to 1st position 4th line F to the first position 4th
line F on the Bb... don't know how "legit" it is, but it's always worked
for me, as I---in theory, at least--- adjust the pitch no matter which
valve I'm using.
