[Trombone-l] Carry-On Instruments

Phil,
I've used the golf bag case....( wasn't that Sam's suggestion originally? ) 
and it worked, though the bulk is tough to manage with cabs and other 
luggage.

Haven't used that in several years and I understand that airlines won't 
accept something that size anymore, at least without a sizable penalty fee.

These days I use a terrific leather case made by Glenn Cronkite. Two cases 
that strap together. Compact and really well made.

That said, I still approach an airport with some degree of trepidation and 
don't like the idea that T.S.A. and the whims of stressed out airline 
workers are factors to be reckoned with when boardiing a plane with the 
horn.
