Lately I've come to realize that the people mater more than the music.  I'd
like to play music with musicians I like.  Their musical skills are less
important than their social skills.  There are several marvelous
instrumental technicians in town that I hate being on a gig with, because it
is always about them.  They work their instruments very well, but still are
crappy musicians.  The musicians that are good people usually have a good
sense of team, thus usually make good music, even if their technical skills
aren't super top notch.

I guess that wasn't one of the options...

My rule is that two of these three criteria must be present:
1) good music
2) people I like
3) good money

If two of those three descriptions fit, then I'm fine with the gig.
