[Trombone-l] Harry Connick 'My NO' tour

Saw HCJ in Atlanta tonight. It was an excellent gig. 9 horns (3,3,3) plus
rhythm. Roger Ingram on lead trpt, outstanding as usual. Not a single
fracked note.

Harry had a 'friend' w/him on 'bone named Lucien Barbaro (sp). Really
enjoyed his playing. Anybody tell us more about this cat (Jeff)?? Also, the
cat on bass bone was all over it all night long. I love the 'pop' of the
pedals and this guy had it in spades. Nice edge, too. Kinda like a Poulan
roller nose professional chain saw!

Looking for info on these guys.

OOPS.  ... I'll quit snaking those outer tubes (!).  I haven't ever used
a dry snake, though - I just knew it would be bad.  I'll pick the rod in
the future - thanks for the call to good sense.

I'll have to try the chicken fat.  Not on the Shires, though.  Sorry to
bring back the endless lube thread.   :(
