The graphic you refer to is on my website:

It was presented to me in a lesson just prior to a recital by the  
immensely insightful and thoughtful Jim Kraft, then 2nd Trombone with  
the National Symphony in DC.

That was 10 years ago, and I keep the graphic with me in my case and  
a copy hangs on my studio door.
Last year, a gentlemen came from the West coast for a lesson. We  
started talking about performance practices and he asked if I had  
ever seen the picture.........I laughed. Oh, yeah. I had seen it. It  
made a very strong impression on me and apparently Jim's wisdom is  
impacting many others, too.
