Yes, and no.
Those false tones on a BBb 3 valve Tuba (Eb, D, Db, C)
just ooze out freely. I find it much easier on Tuba
than Euph. They don't come out as easily on a 4 valver
when not using the 4th valve, though. An acoustic
thing.
